Just Another Fucking Noob Who Doesn't Know Shit

Ok maybe not 100% accurate, but I've been spinning and chasing birds for the past 6 months without really anything to show for it. Need to get clear on what exactly I'm trying to accomplish, because at the moment I've got no fucking idea.

Some things I've been playing with/somewhat familiar with the concept of:

-Messenger Bots
-Instagram growth (bots and organic, haven't committed to either enough to really know)

-Facebook ads (still no real success)

-Email marketing (several platforms)

-Funnel building (bought into the ClickFunnels hype for a bit... software isn't that special, community is pretty decent though)

-Facebook groups

-A number of other tools and shit that I thought was interesting at the time and played with for a week or so before moving on to the next one


Which leads me to...


Ways I've been looking at/considering/dabbling with monetizing:


-Affiliate marketing (Clickbank, Jvzoo, etc) - Unsuccessful thus far

-Lead generation services - Currently doing this for a gym on the cheap, not thrilled with results. FB ads + chatbot

-Instagram growth - Played with it, haven't committed enough to it. Seems like there is a lot I could do with this

-B2B email marketing - I've got a list of 120k dentists, probably 60-80k with good emails. Seems stupid not to use it

-"The Master Plan" - the one thing I have manage to accomplish is a basic understanding of how/why different
methods/tactics are used for marketing, and I've made some good connections along the way. Considering running an agency model where I get contracts in place with service providers at a set price, and sell the service to businesses at a higher price to keep the difference. I'd be a contractor essentially. Keep coming back to this but something's keeping me from getting momentum with it


One of the single biggest issues I have is I avoid asking for help at all costs. I fucking hate asking for help. With that said...

I'm stuck spinning and taking one step in 1000 different directions instead of picking one and rolling with it. I'm realizing it's a problem, and also very aware that the amount of information available here (Praise,) is only going to contribute to it if I don't make some kind of change.

hey John, interesting road you are traveling. Similar to mine actually.
The issue I have is the old shiny object syndrome so putting on the blinkers has worked - even though I still buy shit I shouldn't.
One thing I found and it gets proven day in day out is that pretty much everybody in the MMO world is in the same boat. It's a giant Ponzi scheme with the only ones making money are the ones making the products. Everyone else is scrambling for the next "big idea" to leap on. Look at the goodies here for proof on that. I have terrabytes of courses I have downloaded.
Enough of that.
You were wondering what works - for me it's B2B.
For me its face to face. I come up with a product or find a service and somehow, any way possible get myself in front of the prospect. I get a good hit rate.
Getting in front of the prospect I have tried cold phone calls, cold door to door and cold email.
So far my results in getting people into my funnel are 20% cold door to door, 20% cold outbound phone and 60% cold email.
I havn't bothered with the agency thing because I really am not sure what to do once someone says yes. And EVERY man and his dog is doing it (to dentists no doubt).
... that is a start. Now waiting on the other 3 peopel to comment.

Yes, everyone has their own version of what "the answer" is for the next big thing. Curiosity continues to get the best of me, and I keep checking out what's next, although I've done my best to not buy shit anymore.

B2B is seeming more and more like the way to go for me as well. I'd be curious to know more about what you've been doing to promote other products/services. Cold email seems like the easiest way to get going at scale.

And yes, everyone seems to be doing the agency thing, but that seems like it's bleeding into the product promotion side of things as well. What have you done to be able to differentiate yourself from the other 10 emails they get every day trying to sell them something?

Hey friend, Interesting post, it relates to me.
I'll give you my general "answer" that has helped me grow 5 businesses and also to succeed on Affiliate Marketing, SMMA, Dropshipping, Instagram and Youtube Grow.

The thing that helped me, and it is still helping me is: You have to be better than expected on everything/ Be obssesed with what you do.

Example: I started on Youtube and was wondering "why my videos dont get views?" I already knew about SEO, Titles, Thumbnails, Content promotion, Collabs, Trends, Great video Ideas, Clickbait, etc. The thing was, my videos sucked, they werent entretaining, people didn't like them. Then I commited myself to create awesome videos (Took me around 2 months to learn about editing and video engagement) and pooshhh... I started getting over over 100k views per video.

Dropshipping: Tried a lot of things, bought 5 courses, downloadaded like 15 courses from here, and no results. I was about to give up when I realized that my Ads were horrible, my product listing wasn't good enough, page, etc.
I had to learn a lot of stuff like, selling, persuation, creating awesome video ads for products, and find products that Will add value to people

The thing is, focus on beeing obssesed, become better than expected with whatever you do, commit to it. If you do Affiliate marketing, be obssesed with it, learn about evertything that has to do with affiliate marketing, be the best at it, add value to others and you will succeed.

You can download the courses you want from here, but it is not gonna change anything if you don't commit to whatever you do, I learnt this the hard way. Maybe you don't understand me right now, but trust me that in the future if you don't give up, you'll get what I'm saying
