Help with CPA [method idea]?

I'm new to CPA affiliate marketing. At least new to Pay Per Lead traffic source.

I have this traffic source where I can only pay per conversion. Which I use to grow my own email list.

Now I saw offers on offervault which are paying like $2-3 per lead (SOI - single opt in). Offers like sweepstakes I think would work well.

My idea is that I could use my traffic source, made a campaign where I pay only $1 per conversion and earn $1-2 on affiliate offer/network.

Is this blackhat/illegal?

Or would affiliate network prefer I still send clicks/views and do all that stuff with facebook/google ads that nobody wants to do (optimizing).

This would be like a passive income where you literally do nothing. Just putting more money in ads and earning 50%+ ROI every time.

Why isn't anyone doing that?

yes thats illegal and you could be banned for doing that..

Regarding you Question - google ads, fb ads - Many affiliates go this way.. but the risk of loosing the ad account is high.
cpa is not easy as it seems. If you know how to optimize, you can win
