Few Suggestions

Hello BlackHatProTools Team and members,

From last few days I have good experience with board staffs and members. Its lovely place to share everything and I will try my best to share.

I have few Suggestions for this board which may help our members and staffs.

1. Various Softwares, Movies & Musics section.

Can we make this forum separate like this
Software
Movies
Musics

Why:
This will help people to find out exactly what they needed. People come a forum and if they saw in a forum software, movie and music, they won't spend more time on it. They will just leave. It will be good for poster and members to get right materials.

2. General Section:

Why:
A general discussion forum may be not required but for a community its really good to have it. Today I saw CodeMe promoted as a Global Moderator, I wanted to wish him but I don't get a right forum to post it.

3. Reputation system:

Why:
I saw that reputation system is not showing in profile. Its good to show reputation in profile. Also I can't provide reputation a person after one time. Its asking me to wait. Waiting for that time.Still I can't provide reputation to CodeMe as I given one to him.

4. Hidden Contents

Why:
I am not sure this this feature enabled. This may be increase post but in other side this can make a board spammy. Also suppose someone posted a tool, I have downloaded that, after few days, links dead. I make a mirror on 3rd page, how many people will see mirror? People will think that there is no mirror because all post look like same and they reply to view contents only. People will comments if they really like. We can allow people to click thanks button to see the links. Board will be clean and it will not spammy, people will like to make mirror and for mirror they will brows all pages. We can reduce 5 topic in a single topic then next page 5 post this way.

5. Password

I don't see yet a single post which contain password : blackhatprottols.com

Why:
Its always good to use password our own. this will increase more visitors because when leecher will leech, they need to post password means you will get few new members. Its really matter. Or with file name we can use web address like filename_blackhatprottols.com.

I had a big warez board once. I have 6 years experience with vBulletin and a big community. I had many staffs. From my experience, I am sharing those suggestions. If I made any mistake, please forgive me. I really wants to make this community better. I will try to help as much as possible.

Hello thanks for your suggestions.

1- In the various softwares, musics and movie section, we have had before the subforums you talked about, but because of that it has brought many spammers so they used lots of bots to post everything they had. Unfortunately BHPT was always getting database errors and was often down that's why we decided to remove these subforums. And the posters in this section are using bots so they don't care about any subforums and i also remind you that BHPT is not a Warez forum but mainly a SEO forum.

2- Can you explain more your suggestion ? // You should have sent a PM to him or just open a new thread in the Chat section //

3 - The reputation system is disabled for Administrators, Moderators and Super Moderators. And it's dislayed on the profile page (just above your avatar / picture profile) by the 2 green bars.

4 - You can use the "[HIDE]" tags so the user will have to thank your post first then to reply to it to unlock the content.

5 - There are some files which are too big to upload so sometimes we keep the original file with the original password which comes with it. But now we started to use blackhatprotools.com as passwords and we can also thank CodeMe that does that.

Thanks for your reply The-Director. Those are only suggestion from my point of view. If there is some database error, then its fine. Now some point is clear.

OK so Firstly you understand i can only agree or Disagree with you, As this is not my Forum
BUT

Question 1:-
I do have to somewhat agree with you as people have been posting dead links & Questions in the same section & i was getting lost sometimes..
So this is why i made a new section called

OFFICIAL FORUM SUPPORT THREAD ( All Questions about Support / Tools Here )


So now people can make all there Support Question there & Dead links can stay in the DEAD LINKS
But again I can't go making a lot of changes with-out talking to the Admin first & getting his consent
If i did, it would show a lack of respect for him, So i hope you understand & i will talk to him & I'm sure he'll read this anyway

A General section, I Understand your reasoning & This i will leave to our Admin & I'm sure he'll ask my thoughts on it.

Question 3:-

Reputation System This happened to me a few days ago, & i mentioned it, and we thought it was just disabled for Admin & Mod to give each other Rep. Then it happened today.. NOW I do Understand if & why it is Disabled for Admin & Mods I get it.. But if this is also happening to you guys also.. then I'm Sure Admin will look into this.. As for being in our Profiles.. I thought it was, But on having another look, it's the Thanks system that is in our profiles.. So not sure what happened there. As this is a Admin Issue we will have to wait until he returns...

Question 4:-

This feature is in place to help stop leechers from just taking.
If people just took & never said Thank you or Kiss my Ass or Nothing lol
Then the Posters that Post these Shares will be less likely to post more..

Take me for instance.. I started posting Mirrors when i first came here
NOW if No One ever said Thank you, Kiss my Ass or Nice one or Clicked Thanks
I would of been dishearten to tell the truth & thought sod it, why should i bother.

It's the Thank You & +Rep That kept me posting mirrors
I seen & felt people Appreciated my efforts.

OK well I hope I've answered Most of your Questions, But like i say the Last word lays with our Admin as it's his forum. But in the short time I've come to know him, He's a Cool Guy & unlike some forums He Does Listen
I'm sure he will reply soon & give you more Insight into your Questions...

Unfortunately the vbulletin system we use doesn't allow any members to edit the title unless you are Administrator / Moderator.

However, if you have any thread you'll want to change the title just pm me then i'll do that for you

General section is only for general chat like birthday wish, promotion wish, general talking, funny staff share, share personal experience etc. only general chit chat.

If normal people can join it so it's not worth to create another new chat section. You can talk about everything you want on that section.
